Horse Riding at Diana, Rasnov

The horse riding center Diana in Rasnov offers personal horse riding lessons. Prices are around 100 LEI for 60 min but you can also book a lesson for 30 or 45 min. For small kids, they provide tours with the poneys 40 LEI for 30 min.

Spend a Day at Parc Aventura

For those who want to try the zip lines that cut across the woods, you will have to purchase an entry ticket. The ticket is available for only 3 hours.

For Kids between 4 and 7 years old – there are 4 purple routes (2 yellow for beginners and those under 8.
For Beginners and kids over 8 – there are 2 yellow routes.
For kids older than 12 – there are 2 blue routes, with medium difficulty.
For those older than 14 – there are 2 red routes, with high difficulty.
Adults – For the big ones, there is a black route of high difficulty.

Opening Hours:

Daily from 10 to 20.30. If weather is crap, expect it to be closed for visitation.

Drive on Transfagarasan

Transfagarasan crosses some of the highest mountains in Romania. It’s just a cool, old road that goes through deep valleys and ‘’climb up’’ the mountain. The scenery is spectacular!

Relax and eat your lunch at Lake Balea! Along the road, right across the lake, farmers display local foods and craft objects. You must taste the cheeses and dry sausages/salami or syrups.

A tradition in the region of Brasov is the home-made pine and fruit syrup. People mix the syrup with carbonated water and that is how they make their own natural juice.

Near Harman, in the town called Podul Oltului, you can find one of the few places in Romania where you can learn about and interact with these magnificent birds. The restaurant serves food that is produced inside the farm.

The biggest thematic dinosaur park in SE Europe and the perfect place for an unique family activity! You can see 47 dinosaurs in natural size. The dinosaurs are created from fiber glass and a special type of raisin.

The experience is quite interesting: you will hear the large creatures breathe, make weird noises and move all around you. Inside the building, you will find a painting workshop and a 9D cinema which presents exhibitions with different thematic - for example, dinosaur extinction -.
